New Publication: “Health Professionals and AI: Prototypical Code of Ethics to Govern and Inform Professional Practices”

« Researchers Marco Laverdière and Catherine Régis have published a practical tool designed to support the responsible and appropriate use of AI in professional practices in the healthcare and human relations sectors.

This document presents the conclusions of the reflection work undertaken in 2019 by a group of researchers from Université de Montréal and Québec’s professional orders in the healthcare sector. Based on the priorities identified by the orders in terms of the use of AI in health, and inspired by the principles of the Montréal Declaration, the authors propose a code of ethics prototype to support the successful integration of AI in the practices of professionals. » (Montréal Declaration Responsible AI, 2023)
