Catherine Régis appointed to CCA's Expert Panel

The Council of Canadian Academies just announced its Expert Panel on Health Data Sharing. 

We are pleased to announce that Catherine Régis has been appointed as expert. 

"Data are crucial for detecting, preventing, and responding to public health events. When health data are consistently collected, shared, and used, it can improve the overall delivery of healthcare and save lives. At the request of the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Council of Canadian Academies (CCA) has formed an Expert Panel to examine the impacts and opportunities for health data sharing across Canada. Chaim Bell, Physician-in-Chief at Sinai Health, will serve as Chair of the Expert Panel. "
